Ingredients 2 cups low-fat milk or unsweetened soy milk HA ½ cup plain Greek yogurt or unsweetened soy yogurt HA ¼ cup rolled oats 2 tablespoons natural peanut butter or almond butter HA 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed ½ teaspoon vanilla extract ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon 1–2 pitted dates or ½ frozen banana, optional HA 1 cup ice Helpful Notes Use certified gluten-free oats if needed. A powerful blender will fully smooth the oats; soaking them briefly also helps. Nutrition is an estimate using low-fat milk, Greek yogurt, peanut butter and no optional sweetener. Directions Soften the oats. For an extra-smooth shake, combine the oats and milk in the blender and let stand for 5 minutes.Blend. Add the yogurt, nut butter, cocoa, flaxseed, vanilla, cinnamon and ice. Blend on high until smooth and frothy.Adjust and serve. Taste before sweetening.
